Since that is the name of this blog, and this is the first post, it would stand to reason that the question, “What is an HSA?” be addressed. But reason doesn’t stand in this case as the answer is too long for this blog, and there are a lot of places you can got to learn about Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and get some HSA education. My favorite place is HSAeducator.com . I like that sight, because unlike most websites that discuss HSAs, that one is humorous, conversational, entertaining and if you have questions, it has a forum where experts and other people like you who maybe have been through a similiar situation can share their experience and expertise with you.
So then, what is the purpose of this blog? It lives to provide insight and thoughts on Health Savings Accounts, High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP), Consumer Directed Healthcare (CDH) and the rest of the alphabet soup that is healthcare and HSA related.
