The Principles vs. The Realities of Obama’s Health Care Initiative.

On one hand I applaud Mr. Obama on the drive and energy he is putting forward to “get something done” in Washington around health care. I think to get things done the furnace has to be stoked and the heat turned up on Congress to work through the issues diligently to a greater good. I think this is a good tactic.

Death By Health Care.

The problem is this is not a one size fits all problem, nor does it make sense or cents (as in “dollars and…”) to try to cram down a one size fits all solution. Congress needs to focus on giving us the tools to become a healthy nation.

On the Tweet Deck this morning I noticed a comment by @sheldonM regarding HSA beauacracy. While there is a pretty good chance me and Mr. M. would not see eye-to-eye on the general direction of health care, he did make a comment on which we could find some agreement.
